The story of Palais des Thes began in Paris in 1986 when a group of 40 friends, led by François-Xavier Delmas, opened a shop selling tea. They wanted to be sure they were selling good quality products, and decided to source their teas directly from the countries of origin. Passionate about their cause, the friends made it their mission to introduce French people to the best teas. This philosophy still lies behind everything the company does.
